Description
Enjoy an opportunity to experience their portfolio of 1847 premium wines.
Winemakers crafted their wines to honour their winery heritage and to highlight thr story which starts with the very origins of the Barossa Valley.
History
The land grant on their historic Rowland Flat property was proclaimed by the Governor in 1847. The origins of 1847 Wines begin with Bavarian immigrant Johann Gramp, who in 1847 planted the first commercial vineyard in the Barossa Valley. 1847 Wines has now grown to encompass 200 acres of premium estate vineyards that are the source of the majority of their premium wine portfolio.
