Aroha Island

Aroha Island is a 12-hectare sanctuary located in the Kerikeri Inlet, a short 12km drive northeast of Kerikeri, in the stunning Bay of Islands in New Zealand.

The island offers a 3-bedroom holiday house with sea views and a bush-fringed cottage. The Aroha Kiwi Holiday Home sleeps up to six and is attached to the Aroha Island Eco Centre. It has a comfortable lounge, three large bedrooms, a modern bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. The Aroha Tui Cottage is nestled in a rich bush setting with wildlife just outside the door.

The island is a no-pet, no-fire, and no-smoking zone due to the presence of Kiwi and the island's sensitive nature. It is an ideal location for LOTC programs, offering studies on rocky shores, mangroves, bush, birds, bugs, and conservation. The island is rich in cultural and natural history, hosting rare and endangered plants and animals.
