The reserve spans 7.4 hectares and sits above the southern end of Maroubra Beach, providing stunning views of the ocean.

Arthur Byrne Reserve offers something for everyone. It is perfect for group activities such as barbecues and picnics, with several picnic shelters and barbecue facilities available. The reserve's tree-lined grassed areas provide ample shade and a tranquil setting, perfect for relaxation. You can engage in recreational activities such as kite flying, ball sports like soccer or frisbee, or enjoy a leisurely walk or jog. If you're a skater, check out the Maroubra Skate Park, located within the park. The park also provides direct access to Maroubra Beach, where you can swim, surf, or soak up the sun.

Arthur Byrne Reserve is located roughly 30 minutes from Sydney's CBD. If driving, take Anzac Parade towards Maroubra, then turn left onto Fitzgerald Avenue. Continue onto Marine Parade, and you'll see the reserve on your left. If using public transport, take the 376 or X96 bus to Maroubra Beach, which is only a short stroll to the reserve.
