Arthur's Pass YHA The Mountain House

The Mountain House is a casual lodge located in the centre of Arthur's Pass Village.

It offers views of the forest and mountains of the Arthur's Pass National Park. The accommodation includes mixed dorms and private rooms, some with cooking facilities, and all with shared bathrooms. Guests have access to a kitchen and dining area, as well as a guest lounge with comfortable sofas, guest books, and games. Additionally, there is a self-service laundry available for guests to use. The lodge is conveniently located next to the beginning of the Avalanche Peak track and a 5-minute walk from the start of the track to the Devil's Punchbowl Waterfall. Furthermore, there are 4 ski fields within a 1-hour drive.
