Description

It is part of the Denmark River Reserve and honours Percy Berridge, a long-time resident of the town, member of the Royal Family gardening staff, and gardener in the grounds of the Butter Factory. The park has a variety of playgrounds and equipment to suit children of most ages, a nice rotunda, barbeques, ablution block, shade trees, picnic tables and benches, and various colourful flowers in bloom. It is an ideal spot for family picnics and relaxation amidst natural beauty. In addition to enjoying time in the Berridge Park, visitors can engage in other activities in Denmark, which include mountain biking, tranquil walks, wine tasting, and gallery-hopping. Other popular attractions in Denmark include Greens Pool, an idyllic rock pool in William Bay National Park and Elephant Rocks, a granite outcrop that dwarfs you as you walk to a secluded patch of sand. Don't forget to visit Denmark Berry Farm, where you can feast on raspberries, blackberries, loganberries, and more.
