Blythcliffe is a historic and unique boutique bed and breakfast located in Akaroa, New Zealand.

Built in 1857, it is the oldest house in Akaroa and is listed as an Historic Place Category 1 with Heritage New Zealand. The house sits within three acres of private grounds and is centrally located in Akaroa’s Historic district, an easy, short, flat walk to all of Akaroa’s wonderful restaurants, activities and the main swimming beach.

The accommodation offers three guest accommodations: The Stables, a very spacious, extremely comfortable and completely private apartment, is adjacent to the main house. The Stables features a kitchen and all rooms have a private bathroom. Both free WiFi and private parking are available on site. The stables include a coffee machine as well as a TV and all rooms feature a seating area. The accommodation provides some units with sea views, and every room includes tea and coffee making facilities. Guest rooms have a wardrobe.
