Bogong Village

Bogong Village is a mountain village located in the foothills of the Victorian Alps, halfway between Mount Beauty and Falls Creek in North East Victoria.

The village comprises twenty-six self-contained cottages. Each cottage features an open kitchen and offers either mountain or garden views. The cottages are equipped with iron and ironing board.

The village is owned by AGL, but visitors are welcome to stop and enjoy this beautiful pocket of the High Country on the banks of Lake Guy. Bogong Village is situated in a tranquil place to kick back on the shores of Lake Guy alongside the Alpine National Park. The village is nestled in the mountains and has a magical atmosphere that shifts with the seasons. Visitors can watch the flowers erupt in spring as they walk the water's edge, listen to the birdsong in the surrounding forest as they swim or fish for trout in summer, see the leaves in dazzling hues of red, yellow and orange flutter down from the trees in autumn, and crunch through the soft white snow in winter.

The village is a 10-minute walk from Mount Bogong. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking and outdoor activities. The village offers a tennis court for guests.
