Description
The Bondi to Coogee Walk, also known as the Coogee to Bondi Beach Walk, is a 5.5km trail that connects two of Sydney's most picturesque beaches and offers stunning views of the coastline.
To begin the walk in Bondi, you can take the T4 train to Bondi Junction Station and then the 333 bus to Bondi Beach. If you're starting in Coogee, you can catch the 353 bus from downtown or the 373 bus from Coogee.
The Bondi to Coogee Walk is a one-way paved trail that takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. It features fantastic views of the coastline, five stunning beaches, and has plenty of stops to rest and refuel. The walk is suitable for all ages and fitness levels as it largely features flat terrain.
The walk starts at Notts Avenue in Bondi, near Bondi Icebergs pool. It then takes you under some overhanging cliffs before ascending to the top, where you can enjoy the breathtaking view from MacKenzie's Point. Tamarama Beach and Bronte Beach are also highlights of the walk, offering beautiful scenery and amenities such as parks and cafes. The walk ends at Coogee Beach, where you can relax at the Coogee Pavilion.
The Bondi to Coogee Walk is great to visit any time of the year, but it's best to avoid weekends when it can get crowded newline.
