Brindle Creek Walking Track

Brindle Creek Walking Track Border Ranges is a medium walk in the beautiful Border Ranges National Park.

The track follows the creek line and offers stunning views of rainforest and waterfalls. Visitors will experience an unspoiled wilderness, passing through green landscapes and thriving flora and fauna.

During the walk, you will come across fascinating rainforests and waterfalls. Pass through ancient rainforest as you follow the Brindle Creek line. Look out for the huge hoop pines and massive ancient Antarctic beech trees with their thick and hairy trunks covered in lichens and ferns. The area is known for its misty atmosphere, even in the middle of summer, providing a unique opportunity to witness the untouched beauty of nature.

The walk is of medium difficulty and offers the chance for a picnic or two along the way. Keep an eye out for Evans Falls and Selva Falls, as well as a swimming hole below Evans Falls for a refreshing dip.

The Brindle Creek Walking Track Border Ranges can be visited year-round. June through August offers cooler temperatures and clear skies. From September through November, the weather is pleasant and the flora and fauna are in full bloom.

To reach the track, head to the Brindle Creek picnic area in the northeast of the park. Take Summerland Way from Lismore, Casino, or Kyogle to Kyogle, then drive towards Wiangaree for around 30 minutes until you reach Brindle Creek Road. Turn left and follow the road to the picnic area. From there, you can park and follow the track to the Antarctic Beech Picnic Area.
