Located in Broulee, the North Head to Mossy Point Cycleway is a fantastic flat route that offers a mix of shared pathway and on-road riding.
The journey begins at Heath Street, close to the Surf Club, where ample parking is available.
As you travel south along the back of the sand dunes of Bengello Beach, be prepared to encounter some wildlife such as kangaroos, echidnas, wallabies or goannas. Moreover, this renowned surf beach is quite popular among professionals and locals. At the end of Bengello beach lies the airport where adventure seekers can try skydiving.
Afterwards, head back north, passing the start point, and continue towards Mossy Point - a great place to stop for some refreshments. Once there, be sure to enjoy the eateries, cafes and stunning outlook.
Complete the final leg by hitting the trail past the popular Broulee Beach back to the beginning. Here, relax and take in the views at the lookout near the car park. If you brought along a camera, don't miss the opportunity to take some photos here.
The best time for cycling at the Broulee North Head to Mossy Point Cycleway is during the spring and autumn seasons when the weather is quite pleasant.
