Description
Bucks have been a part of Thirroul since time immemorial.
Opened as a shoe shop in 1940, Albert "Buck" Hamblin was the first of three generations to call this building home. You'll hardly find locals who didn't buy their school shoes here, fondly remembering the pink and green shelves and tiles. The shop closed in 2000 and has remained unchanged to this day. A breath of fresh air has brought new life to Bucks, but its cores remain the same: a family business that's here for the long haul to provide the community with a new place to gather, eat, drink and celebrate.
