Description

Located in the central heart of Bunbury, with six different gallery spaces, BRAG is a must visit for all culture lovers.

BRAG hosts local exhibitions and attracts nationally touring exhibitions from around the country - featuring some of the finest contemporary art being produced in Australia.

It is also the home to The City of Bunbury Art Collection which contains over 1000 works with a strong focus on Western Australian Art. Selections from the collection are shown in curated exhibitions throughout the year. The collection continues to grow with yearly acquisitions from the gallery's main awards, South West Art Now (SWAN), Biennale and Noongar Country.

Further the gallery is the home to the Noongar Arts Program providing support and opportunity for Noongar artist to showcase and develop their works. The program offers regular workshops, an artist in residence studio space, operates the Noongar Arts shop and oversees the yearly Noongar Country exhibition.

Located in the central heart of Bunbury, BRAG is a must visit for all culture lovers. Housed in Bunbury's most iconic heritage listed building, there are many traces of its past life as the Sisters of Mercy Convent which can still be seen today.
