Nicola Milan

Nicola Milan is the creator of Thelonious Creature, a whimsical art brand that draws inspiration from Victorian Gothic and Steampunk aesthetics. Working with pastel pencil as her preferred medium, Nicola illustrates quirky characters from snobbish Victorian aristocrats in top hats to mischievous crows sporting Steampunk goggles. An award-winning cartoonist and illustrated book author, her artwork extends into a range of merchandise, including notebooks, stickers and other stationery, all infused with her signature gothic charm.

Nicola creates immersive events, encouraging guests to dress up and dive into her character-driven worlds. Her 2019 show Freaky Little Creatures saw Steampunk and Victorian-clad fans solving riddles woven into her gothic tales.
