Cape York Peninsula Fishing is run by owner/operator Jay Arnold. He offers a variety of fishing opportunities, from open blue waters to vast river systems, coral reefs, rocky headlands, sand flats, swamps, and billabongs. Depending on your fishing adventure, charters can take you from Virlya Point (West Coast of Cape York) to Cairns Cross Islands (East Coast of Cape York), so you can experience all kinds of fishing.
Fish commonly caught in the area include barramundi, mangrove jack, finger mark, GT, jew fish, mackerel, queen fish, coral trout, cod, bream, spangled emperor, red emperor, cobia, Queensland groper, grunter, parrot fish, nannygai, tuna, and sharks.
On top of the fish, you can also spot an array of wildlife and aquatic animals, including migrating birds, dingoes, crocodiles, wallabies, dugongs, turtles, and assorted rays. Get ready for some exciting onboard action!
