Catlins Mohua Park is an eco-accommodation located in Owaka, New Zealand.
It is situated in a remote 8-hectare protected forest reserve, 16 km south of Owaka, in the Catlins Valley. The park offers four secluded, tranquil, self-contained cottages with magical vistas set within 9 hectares of QEII protected native bush. Each cottage is a spacious king studio eco-cottage, providing warmth and comfort in a natural bush setting. They feature fully equipped kitchens, dining settings, and lounge areas with sofas. Private bathrooms with bathrobes are included, and bed linen is provided. The cottages do not have TVs. The park is set in 8 hectares of protected ancient forest, on an unsealed road 7 kilometers from the highway.
Catlins Mohua Park has an excellent location, rated 9.6/10 by real guests, with accessible parking. The minimum stay is two nights. The park is pet-friendly, allowing dogs on the deck but requiring them to be on a lead when walking around. A $250 cleaning fee will be charged if dogs are found in the cottage.
