It is a central location, conveniently accessible from the Parkes CBD and the shopping precinct. The park provides ample parking space and is suitable for visitors of all ages.
Cooke Park offers a variety of activities and events for visitors to enjoy all year round. The park is a popular spot for recreational activities such as picnics, playing in the playground, or taking a stroll. There are also many locally grown and locally made markets and events to check out. For instance, the 'HOMEGROWN PARKES LOCALLY GROWN & MADE' event is held annually every March, and features activities such as crop swapping, bus trips to a local garden, children's activities and more.
The Cooke Park Pavilion is the prime multipurpose function centre for hosting a variety of events such as conferences, dinners, meetings, weddings and music concerts. Its interior is designed to provide flexibility and can accommodate around 500 people. There is a stage, kitchen, and all necessary amenities for guests to enjoy their events.
