Located just 1 kilometre from the town centre, Coorow Farm hosts a stunning array of wildflowers, including orchids, everlastings, and natives.
The best time to visit the farm is between July and October annually, depending on weather patterns.
Take a stroll or drive through the trail and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the wildflowers. The trail provides a magnificent view of the farm, where visitors can see different species of wildflowers in their natural habitat. For history buffs, the trail also takes you to the ruins of the original settlers of Coorow, the Long Family Homestead. The homestead was set up by William and Sara Long in 1862 and was used for sheep and horse rearing. The horses were shipped to Singapore, where they were used by the British forces, and the wool was transported to Dongara and Perth. The ruins of their homestead can be seen on the final leg of the trail, about 550 metres from the exit to Coorow Latham Road.
The best time to visit is during the wildflower season from July to October, annual visitors are treated to beauty and colours of the wildflower during this period. Arriving at the right time when most of the flowers are blooming will make your visit worthwhile.
The Coorow Farm Wildflower Trail is located 1 kilometre from the town centre. The trail can be accessed by walking or driving, making it easy for everyone to enjoy.
