The Coromandel School of Mines and Historical Museum is a comprehensive village museum located in the historic Coromandel School of Mines building, which dates back to 1897.
The museum is dedicated to showcasing the life of mining and its impact on the small town of Coromandel, New Zealand. The admission fee for adults is $5, and children under 12 years of age can enter for free. The museum only accepts cash for entry, but tickets are also available from the Information Centre.
