Deep Water Point

This area is also home to a number of sea birds, including the osprey, cormorants and many other bird species.

Situated within the Canning River, Deep Water Point provides shelter and food resources for an array of species, including prawns, blue-swimmer crabs, gobbleguts and the bottlenose dolphins.

Deep Water Point is a popular recreational spot, particularly for water skiing. The site is also a popular location for swimming and picnicking, with toilet facilities nearby and the Deep Water Point Café.

The Mt Pleasant boat ramp is located within the area. For more information on launching vessels, visit the Department of Transport.
