Description
Since 1972 Evans & Tate has held a special place in the hearts of Australian wine drinkers and continue to offer their trusted styles, as well as new offerings, and the premium Redbrook range.
The history of Evans & Tate dates back to 1971 when John Evans & John Tate first planted vines in the Swan Valley. Three years later, they purchased land and planted a vineyard in Wilyabrup, in the heart of Margaret River, which they named Redbrook. In 1987 the first Evans & Tate Margaret River Classic wine was released. More than 30 years on, it remains the number one selling Margaret River wine.
The winemaking team, led by Senior Winemaker Matt Byrne and Winemaker Feleasha Prendergast, continuously strives to craft elegant wines which exhibit distinct regional characteristics and intense purity of fruit. Under the ownership of Fogarty Wine Group, Evans & Tate continue to be one of Australia's best-selling and most awarded Margaret River wineries.
