Ewenton Park

Ewenton Park is a spacious foreshore park located in Balmain at Jubilee Place.

It offers picturesque views of the sparkling water and has picnic tables with sandstone seating for a memorable waterside picnic. The park also has a dedicated on and off-leash area for dogs.

For casual one-off events such as weddings, parties, or picnics with 30-250 people, you can make a booking using the online booking system or by emailing parkbookings@innerwest.nsw.gov.au. Bookings cannot be made within seven days of the proposed event date. For large-scale events with over 250 people, contact parks@innerwest.nsw.gov.au for bookings and enquiries. The applications and approvals process for these events can take up to six months.

If you need to cancel an event, providing more than seven days' notice will result in a refund after a deduction of $50 as a cancellation fee. Cancellations made with seven days' notice or less will not be refunded. The council does not reschedule or refund bookings due to inclement weather.

Fees and charges for events at Ewenton Park vary depending on the event type and the number of people attending. Minor events with 30-500 people cost $51.00 per hour (GST inclusive), while major events with over 500 people cost $2592.30 per day (GST inclusive).

Ewenton Park is easily accessible by car, with street parking available nearby. If you prefer public transport, bus routes 441 and 445 run frequently to and from the park.
