Fiordland Lodge

Fiordland Lodge is a sophisticated country lodge located at the gateway to Fiordland National Park in Te Anau, New Zealand.

The lodge is renowned for its dining experience, which is considered the signature experience of a stay at the lodge. The restaurant is the only one in the area with views over Lake Te Anau into the Fiordland National Park. Guests are invited to wander the potager garden, forage for native flavors, and embrace the kitchen team in the process.

The lodge can accommodate a maximum of 27 guests in 10 luxurious rooms in the Lodge and two separate self-contained loft-style Log Cabins. The log cabins provide secluded accommodation for a maximum of five guests separate from the main lodge. All ten accommodation options have commanding views over Lake Te Anau, and external access out onto either the balcony. The decor of the rooms reflects the beautiful Fiordland landscape, focusing on muted natural colors and textures. The lodge's Deluxe Lodge rooms are located on the 2nd floor with elevated views out across Lake Te Anau with backdrops of the Murchison and Kepler Mountains. The comfortable rooms at Fiordland come with private balconies and luxurious bathrooms. Amenities include DVD players and tea/coffee makers. Selected rooms come with spa baths.

The high ceilings and large fireplace in the hotel's lounge provide a warm and cozy environment where guests can enjoy a book or chat with other guests. A tour desk and laundry services are available. There is no lack of recreational activities available in the area. Hiking, fishing, and scenic flights are some examples.

Fiordland's restaurant serves an a la carte breakfast and dinner. The bar offers pre-dinner canapés and a wide selection of New Zealand wines
