Gahan Reserve

Gahan Reserve, located in Park Street, Abbotsford, is a popular local park near Collingwood train station and Collingwood Town Hall.

Gahan Reserve is an excellent destination for a picnic or barbeque on fine days. You can spend hours catching up with friends and neighbors while enjoying the fresh air and green surroundings. For those looking for an active day-out, the half basketball court is ideal for shooting some hoops, and the playground will keep kids of all ages entertained.

Gahan Reserve allows dogs, but there are designated on-leash and off-leash zones. The southern half of the park is available to dogs off-leash, while north, near the playground and barbeque/picnic area, is only accessible with a leash.

The park provides an accessible swing set, barbecue and picnic facilities, including picnic tables. The park is wheelchair accessible, and there is a Maternal and Child Health Service available on-site. Personal Trainers are welcome to use the site if they have obtained a permit.

Gahan Reserve is an all-year-round attraction. Collingwood Train Station is the nearest station, and it is only a short distance to Gahan Reserve. You can also get there by bus, using the Victoria Parade bus route.
