Description
Gascoyne in May is a coordinated circuit of festivals held on consecutive weekends across the region.
Mostly free to attend, each festival is themed to reflect its diverse and individual locations, each celebrating and sharing local culture in their own Gascoyne style.
The Gascoyne is the most sparsely populated region in the state. The coastal area include the Ningaloo Reef and the Shark Bay World Heritage Area, while the hinterland includes the Kennedy Range and Mt Augustus, the largest monocline in the world.
