Giingan Gumbaynggirr Cultural Experience by Bularri Muurlay Nyanggan Aboriginal Corporation

The Giingan Experience is a Gold Award Winning Experience (Gold Award – NSW Tourism Awards 2019 and 2021) that immerses guests in the Gumbaynggirr language, culture, and stories at the stunning location of “Niigi Niigi” (Sealy Lookout) within the Orara East State Forest.

Guests are able to appreciate the 360 degree views and gain an understanding of native plant uses. By taking part in the experience, guests are contributing to the revitalisation of the Gumbaynggirr language and culture, and providing the Gumbaynggirr community with the opportunity to participate and experience speaking traditional language and to practice culture on Country.
