Glenrock Gardens Tenterfield is an award-winning country garden situated in the high country of New England in the historic town of Tenterfield, NSW, Australia.
The gardens, which have been around for 30 years, are English-inspired and feature drystone walls, steps, and classic Australian eucalyptus trees. Surrounded by local granite boulders and Australian bushland, the property was once a working cattle farm and part of the famous "Tenterfield Station." Since January 2018, the new owners have made significant improvements to the gardens and infrastructure.
Glenrock Gardens Tenterfield offers a range of activities and is an ideal venue for events such as weddings, workshops, and garden tours. The gardens are stunning in all seasons and boast numerous lakes throughout. Visitors can enjoy refreshments and use restroom facilities, and the venue can arrange catering for larger groups. For those with mobility challenges, a 4-seater electric buggy and electric vehicle charging station are available.
The nursery at Glenrock Gardens Tenterfield offers a selection of shrubs and perennials for sale, allowing visitors to explore different plant options within the garden. Additionally, the latest addition to the venue is an undercover space with seating for 130+ guests. This new venue, set to be completed by the end of March 2022, will include a cafe/restaurant and serve as an excellent location for wedding receptions and other outdoor gatherings.
