Description
Gloucester River Wines is nestled in the foothills of the Bucketts Mountains, where rich volcanic soil produces grapes of exceptional quality.
Gloucester River Wines make small, very authentic vintages. John would be delighted to have you visit and sample the unique range of reds, whites and rose style wines offered. Only 10 minutes from Gloucester, NSW, with plenty of parking and picnic spots on the shady river flats
TRADITIONAL METHODS
John creates whites, reds and a wide range of Rose style wines using 460 year old methods brought from Central Europe, using closed and open vat fermentation
NO SYNTHETIC CHEMICALS
The wines are full of character, often intense. Grown with nil or minimal additives and sprays.
Fertiliser is generated by the property's cattle and turned into 'cow tea' before being added to the vines. This is wine how it used to be made, complete with corks for reds!
