Description
Established in 2005, Julie Barry's Good Catholic Girl Wines is a winery located in the celebrated Clare Valley wine region, in South Australia.
After many years of working for my parents wine company, Jim Barry Wines I decided in 2004 after my father’s earthly departure to show some personal bravery, and follow my dream of establishing my own wine company where I could do it my way! Thus all involvement with JBW has been annulled, and my mother Teresa Nancy proudly watches my progress with GCG Wines, she is a wonderful supporter! My father set me on this course when he chose a property called Limerick in the Armagh area of Clare as the perfect site to plant my vineyard in 1997, so no doubt he would raise his glass to my project as well.
