Goombaragin is an approximate two hour drive north of Broome, in the spectacular Kimberley region of Western Australia.
The Goombaragin Eco Retreat are well positioned to overlook the scarlet pindan cliffs and turquoise waters of Pender Bay. The eco-retreat offers several unpowered camp sites, a range of safari tents and a self-contained chalet. Enjoy long stretches of unspoilt private beaches, great swimming, snorkelling, sunsets, fishing and much more.
Soak up the wonderful hospitality and join in the nightly communal get-togethers around the fire and regular pizza nights. Make sure to get involved in sharing stories around the campfire with your local hosts and owners of the retreat, Kathleen and John. A range of guided cultural walks provide insight into the Bard, Baniol, Nyul Nyul and Nimanburr peoples of the area and how they manage the land and sea over different seasons.

Getting There
Travel out onto the Cape Leveque Road. Part of road is bitume, then dirt then bitumen again. Go pass the Beagle Bay Community turnoff. The turn LEFT onto the Middle Lagoon road (approx 23kms from BBC turnoff. The turn RIGHT at the crossroads (approx 15kms from the CLR) then we are 2ND LEFT after the crossroads. You will then be entering Goombaragin Eco Retreat's property. Goombaragin also has signs at all intersections. Follow these signs as well. Safe travels.
