Getting to Gorge Rock Pool Picnic Area is easy. From the park entrance, visitors drive 4.6km along the access road to Carnarvon Gorge visitor area to reach Rock Pool car park. From there, the Rock Pool walk begins, taking visitors on a journey through the beautiful natural scenery of Carnarvon Gorge.
The main attraction at Gorge Rock Pool Picnic Area is the Rock Pool walk, which is an easy 400m walk from the Rock Pool car park. The walk offers visitors the chance to get up close and personal with the stunning scenery of this natural wonder. Once in the Rock Pool area, visitors can take a refreshing dip in the cool waters and spend the afternoon picnicking in the shade.
