By car, they can head west on the Western Hwy A8 from Melbourne, redirecting to the Wimmera Hwy at Horsham, and continue for around 50 km to reach Natimuk. The reserve is a short 2-kilometer drive from the town's center.
Natimuk is also serviced by the V/Line Passenger train, which connects to suburban trains on the Ararat line. Visitors can take the V/Line train to Ararat and then connect to a bus service to reach Natimuk.
