Description

Greenock Brewers Barossa Valley is a boutique brewery located in the historic old Wheat Store in Greenock, a quiet hamlet on the western slope of the Barossa region of South Australia.

The brewery produces small batches of pure, traditionally fermented beers, hand-crafted from the best ingredients available, using the German Beer Purity Law of 1516 as their model. The hallmarks of the brewery are natural ingredients, tradition, and quality. The brewery balances tradition and innovation to create recipes for beers that are pure, unfiltered, and full of flavor. Greenock Brewers Barossa Valley offers a range of distinctive beers, including Bunawunda Blonde, Victorville Ale, Dark Ale, and Brunskill Stout. The beers are available for sale directly from the brewery or from selected bottle shops, hotels, clubs, and restaurants in the region. Visitors can taste and purchase the beers at the cellar door, which is situated in the 150-year-old Wheat Store. The brewery also offers tours of the brewing operation. The venue has a beer garden where customers can enjoy a glass or two of beer, use the BBQ, and have local cheese and chorizo platters. The brick-paved beer courtyard is a great place to relax and enjoy the beers. In winter, visitors can retreat to the wood heater inside the brew-shed. The venue is pet-friendly, and disabled access is available.
