Description
Greenwood Lakes is a nature reserve located in Forestdale, Australia.
It spans 13.5 hectares and was rehabilitated from a former sand mine. The reserve is part of the Flinders-Karawatha corridor, a bushland passing through the Logan area.
Visitors to Greenwood Lakes can enjoy a paved walkway through wetlands, observe birds and turtles from a raised platform, and find a peaceful area for contemplation. There is also a covered picnic area with tables and chairs at the entrance.
To get to Greenwood Lakes, visitors can take a car or taxi. The entry to the reserve is off Forestdale Drive near the corner of Paradise Road newline.
