Grotto Walk

The Grotto Walk in North Nowra is located on the banks of the Shoalhaven River and can be easily accessed from Yurunga Drive.

Despite some challenging parts, the 2-kilometre hike is highly rewarding and offers a beautiful view of the river. The walk features a unique rock formation known as the Grotto and allows visitors to appreciate the surrounding flora and fauna. Along the way, there are four lookout points and a section that passes through an old farm and orchard with historical significance. The Grotto Walk is enjoyable year-round, but visitors should be prepared for weather changes. To get there, simply take Yurunga Drive and the walk to the river will only take a few minutes. It is recommended to wear suitable footwear, bring food and water, and follow safety regulations while hiking.
