Description
Halls Falls Pyengana is a small, yet beautiful waterfall located in Tasmania's northeast corner.
It is considered a hidden gem by the locals due to its tranquil beauty, peaceful forest surroundings, and lack of crowds. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely hike along the walking track, which offers stunning views of the waterfall and surrounding forest. They can also take a dip in the swimming hole at the base of the waterfall or have a picnic in the lush forest surroundings. The best time to visit is during the summer months when the weather is warm and dry, but the waterfall is picturesque all year round. To get there, drive about one kilometer north on Anchor Road from the Tasman Highway in Pyengana and look out for a small sign indicating the start of the walking track newline.
