To get to Hanging Rock Lookout, follow the clearly signposted track from the Nundle Hotel. Drive 800 meters east on Oakenville Street and take the left veer signposted to Barry and Hanging Rock. After 6.5 kilometers, you will see a road to Niangala on the left, and opposite that is the track to the Hanging Rock lookout. Follow the track on the right, head down, and park on the right-hand side after 50 meters.
