Description
Henderson Cliffs Beeliar is a unique tourist destination located in Australia.
The Limestone cliffs along Cockburn Sound in the Beeliar Regional Park are a popular attraction for tourists who want to take a walk, explore the water wetlands and natural landscapes. The wetlands and numerous lakes are part of the Beeliar Regional Park, which are stretched along the coast covering thousands of hectares.
Visitors to Henderson Cliffs Beeliar can enjoy a 300-meter walk along a loop trail that offers a scenic view of the limestone cliffs made up of Tamala limestone. The cliffs were formed from wind-blown dunes where sedimentation has occurred and water has percolated through forming carbonate underneath. The cliffs are unique to visitors and give them an opportunity to enjoy the natural environment. The Beeliar Regional Park offers visitors the chance to explore nature with different wetlands, lakes, and natural landscapes.
The best time to visit is during the cooler months of the year, from March to November, when the weather is mild and pleasant.
Henderson Cliffs Beeliar is located along the far western section of the Beeliar Regional Park. Visitors can access Hammond Road via Aphelia Brace as part of the Hammond Road upgrade project. Visitors can also use the Trails WA app to find the trail and access offline maps.
