Hobart Rivulet Walk

The Hobart Rivulet Walk is a 2.7 km walk beside the Hobart Rivulet in South Hobart, Tasmania.

It is well-signposted and the path is initially paved, making it easy to navigate. The walk can be started at either end and concludes at the Cascade Brewery. The walk provides insights into the city's past and offers excellent views of kunanyi/Mt Wellington.

One of the highlights of the walk is the colourful graffiti murals painted by local youths on the walls of the tunnel. The murals bring energy to the dark tunnel and are a feast for the eyes. It is recommended to bring a torch to properly see the artwork on the walls.

Autumn is the best time to visit as the colours are spectacular and the temperature is pleasant.

The best way to get to the Hobart Rivulet Walk is by car, as there is plenty of parking available near both starting points. Alternatively, visitors can take a taxi or use the public bus, which operates regularly in the area.
