Honan Mint Trails

Located just 16km from Mount Gambier, the Honan Mint Trails in Glencoe offer a unique opportunity to explore the native bushland of the Green Triangle Forest district.

There are three established forest trails ranging from 2.7km to 5.7km in length, showcasing the beauty of the reserve. The area is home to a diverse range of rare and endemic plants and wildflowers, including the Mentha atrolilacina. The trails are well marked, making navigation easy for both cyclists and walkers. The best time to visit is during spring when the native bushlands are in full bloom. The forest reserve is closed on Total Fire Ban days for safety reasons. To reach the trails, follow the Riddoch Highway and take the Glencoe Road turnoff towards Glencoe. The trails are located within the heart of the native forest reserve near Glencoe.
