Functionality holds the key to the perfect family kitchen that is both inviting and practical.
Imperial Interiors was asked to manufacture, construct and install this versatile family kitchen. The owners stressed the importance of various modes of cooking, while wanting the kitchen to appear inviting to guests.
The kitchen combines an island/galley area with designated workstations situated on one side of the space. Granite benchtops are featured throughout, while self-closing drawer mechanisms prevent slamming. The kitchen is also equipped with a wine fridge, drinks fridge, large family fridge and two integrated dishwashers. Neutral coloured materials were used on all surfaces to blend with the theme of the existing home. Lighting works to enhance cabinetry and glass splashbacks, while the double bowl sink is positioned to overlook the courtyard. Two 60-litre pull-out bins were included to manage waste.
