Description
The clients were looking for a completely new design that would modernise their kitchen and create a more interactive style for the family to use.
An old brick corner pantry and brick oven stack were removed to create space for a tall section of sleek lacquer cabinets, housing efficient drawers.
It was decided in the early design stages that a large central island with lacquer cabinets on both sides would work well.
As a design feature, which has rarely been seen in Australia, a benchtop extractor fan that rises up electronically was placed at the rear of the cooktop. This enabled the clients to prevent any unnecessary clutter over the kitchen island area.
Finally, for an added touch of luxury, the popular Zip HydroTap was installed to provide instant hot and chilled water.
