Jacqui Brown

Jacqui Brown paints the local coastline and recycles old used surfboards to create surfboard art.

In Jacqui's paintings, she tries to depict this essence of the beach, in the shrubs and ocean colours. To get the power of this she paints a few near 4-metre canvases, which can take 2 to 4 years to complete. One of which shall be on display during Open Studios in her new studio. She still surfs regularly and paints as much as she can.
