Jaky Pinnock

Jaky knew that her passion has always been for the arts and self studied many different modalities, including majolica, sculpture, glass fusing, mosaics, painting, ceramics and jewellery.

Whilst living in Perth she worked as a professional mosaic artist with four of her large sculptured marble mosaic artworks featuring in the King’s Park Botanic Gardens. Jaky also worked in fine Italian glass tesserae and was commissioned to do an Angel with 24ct gold halo mosaic for the Fremantle Mausoleum, among many other commercial and private commissions.

The desire to be back “Down South” with the gorgeous beaches , vineyards and wonderful lifestyle was too strong, so in 2002 Jaky moved back home. She now has inspiration at her door step again.

Never one to let any one form of art or art style define her work, she is constantly experimenting with different techniques. Her naive style art tells a story with vibrant colour and a sense of humour. Jaky hopes that those who love this style of art will feel inspired by these everyday images. Jaky continues to work in mosaics, ceramics and painting with the same passion for colour and vibrancy.
