Synth bass banjo, big fat electro beats, vocoder hollers, demented robot scat, and more, all performed live and layered into loop heaven.
Banjo! Robots! JoBot is a kaleidoscopic suite of inspired songs and soundscapes from Perth multi-instrumentalist and producer Dave Lawrence, where soulful blues and roots playing collide with psychedelic electronica, looping and automation.
Imagine Daft Punk getting lost on the set of Deliverance, drinking some mushroom-laced moonshine, then jamming the hell out. Startling, unique and lovely, rootsy and futuristic.
