Description
Timeless values of form and technique are the basis for design and manufacturing principles in the handcrafting of over 100 different shapes.
Ceramics is my life: A fascination with earth and fire to transform it into stone, finding inspiration through the landscapes of the south coast.
Timeless values of form and technique are the basis for design and manufacturing principles in the handcrafting of over 100 different shapes.
The gallery has spectacular views of Scottsdale Valley, showcasing Art Series Vessels and Vases, Sculptural Art and extensive Tableware ranges by the very talented WA Ceramic designer.
The Studio
"My interest in clay started in 1972 at age 17. As a young artist, the isolation of this area enabled me to develop my own style.
The majesty and grandeur of the south coast landscape inspires a timelessness that I incorporate into the design process.
My work encompasses many ranges in contemporary shapes and colour combinations.
With so many trends and styles in food, versatility and function are of the utmost importance to me.
My inspiration and techniques are an eclectic combination of classic forms and structures from Europe and Asia, of which I find the latter more spontaneous and naive.
In addition to the 600 items of tableware, I craft a range of vases and ceramic artworks."
