The perfect spot to set up camp and explore Lesueur National Park and surrounding parks.
This newly managed reserve has a new campground and is right next to Lesueur National Park which is known for being one of the most important flora conservation reserves in Western Australia.
Spend a few days and check out Cockleshell Gully or hike some trails in Lesueur National Park – we recommend spring time for the wildlfowers, or take a drive and explore the unusual limestone pillars at the Pinnacles Desert.
If you are planning to camp at Karda, take advantage of the high points, clear skies and remoteness for star gazing.
The reserve and campground will be closed during the hotter months.
CampingKarda campground is open from 1 April to 31 October. It has 31 campsites suitable for all types of camping equipment and online bookings are essential. For more information visit Karda campground.
Getting thereKarda Reserve is approximately 20km from Jurien Bay via Jurien Road (also known as Jurien East Road) and Banovich Road. The reserve is two-wheel drive accessible and the roads are unsealed.
