Description
Kimberley Warm Springs Reserve is a semi-developed geothermal feature located in the peaceful town of Kimberley in North West Tasmania.
Managed by Parks and Wildlife Service Tasmania, the reserve offers a relaxing and therapeutic experience for visitors. It features a constructed pool for swimming and a sheltered barbecue area for picnics. The springs maintain a constant temperature of 24-25 degrees Celsius and have healing properties due to their chemical composition. The reserve also requires regular maintenance to remove excessive algal growth. It is home to an endemic snail and an algae not previously recorded south of Sydney newline.
