Nestled off East Boundary Road, the King George VI Memorial Reserve offers a vast expanse of recreational opportunities that caters to a variety of outdoor enthusiasts.

The reserve boasts a range of facilities, including basketball rings, BBQ facilities, birdie golf cages, hit-up walls, multi-purpose sports fields, picnic shelters, playgrounds, rotundas, seating areas, tables, tennis clubs, walking paths, and toilets to ensure that visitors can enjoy a comfortable and convenient visit.

The challenging playground is an exciting attraction for kids that features a rope climbing frame, swings, basket swing, large bug springers and stand-up spinners, education panels, and a fireman's pole. King George VI Memorial Reserve is also home to Bentleigh Junior Football Club, Bentleigh ANA Cricket Club, East Bentleigh Central Cricket Club, and Kings Park Tennis Club. Visitors can enjoy a range of recreational activities such as two sports fields for cricket and football, a basketball court, a multi-purpose hit-up wall with tennis lines, targets, and soccer goals, a golf birdie cage, a ball toss tower, and a netball ring.

With the sports grounds available for off-leash dog walking, both dogs and dog owners alike can enjoy the fresh air in the beautiful reserve. Dogs are not permitted within playgrounds and sports and recreation facilities, including the golf birdie cage.
