Description

The Kings Street Arts Centre is a home for arts and cultural organisations representing a blend of youth, regional, community and professional arts activity and practice. These include Artsource, Ausdance Western Australia, Buzz Dance Theatre, Community Arts Network WA (CANWA), Country Arts WA, FORM, Steps Youth Dance Company and the West Australian Youth Theatre Company (WAYTC).

The King Street Arts Centre is located between King and Murray Street in Perth and occupies the former Munster House. Originally built in the early 1900s Munster House was extensively refurbished in the late 1990s to establish the King Street Arts Centre.

These include Artsource, Ausdance Western Australia, Buzz Dance Theatre, Community Arts Network WA (CANWA), Country Arts WA, FORM, Steps Youth Dance Company and the West Australian Youth Theatre Company (WAYTC).

The two meeting rooms at the King Street Art Centre are available for bookings by arts organisations and private companies.

Three dance studios with sprung dance floors (second floor) are also available for hire, managed by Ausdance. Please refer to the Guidelines for further information or contact Ausdance on (08) 9322 6101.

The building is maintained by Metway Real Estate on behalf of the Department of Culture and the Arts.
