Knox Gorge in Karijini National Park is a deep chasm that intersects Wittenoom Gorge.
The 2.4 km Knox Gorge walk trail is an easy route, making it ideal for hiking and walking. The trail takes you past fig trees clinging to the rock walls.
The Knox Gorge offers a short but exhilarating walk through the expansive canyon. The descent into the gorge is steep and rocky but well-maintained. At the end of the trail, visitors can find a slot canyon and shallow pools for swimming. The climb back up is long and steep, so it's important to save energy for the return.
For the best experience, we recommend visiting Knox Gorge late in the afternoon or early in the morning when the sun rays enhance the panoramic view.
